About

I work where design and engineering meet: I analyse how people want to use an application, then design and build a solution around it. I’m currently at Bertschi Digital Logistics AG, where I work as a designer and an engineer and lead the UI Expert Group.

    UI/UX Designer & Software Engineer

    Bertschi Digital Logistics AG

Hybrid role across design and engineering: UX concepts and solution design, full-stack development in the ordering team, and lead of the UI Expert Group.

    • Conceived and built a shared data table framework for 7 data-heavy browser applications: analysed how each displays and handles data, designed a common look and behaviour, and implemented the frontend framework (React). Its concepts became the basis for the backend implementation by another team.
    • Headed the redesign of the design system and React component library of the transport management system, from Figma to Storybook (React, Vite, Storybook, SASS, Figma).
    • Helped shape and build a new document management system with AI-based document categorisation: brought the user-centred perspective into its concept and architecture, designed how the categorisation results are presented to users, and took part in coding and code reviews (Java, React, MongoDB, AWS, OpenAPI).
